[Your Name] http://xxxxxxx.stopac1d.hop.clickbank.net --------------------------------------------------------------- Autoresponder 2 ---------------------------------------------------------------- subject: [Recipients Name] So, what is Acid Reflux? [todays date] Hello again [Recipients Name] In my last Acid Reflux newsletter I listed out some of the topics I was going to cover going forward. Today I am going to give a simple explanation of what Acid Reflux actually is: - Acid Reflux is actually called GERD, or gastro-esophageal reflux disease. - Symptoms result from the reflux of stomach acid back up into the esophagus. - Heartburn is usually the step before Acid Reflux. - Acid Reflux is a condition that affects the esophagus. Acid Reflux happens when your lower esophageal sphincter (LES) does not close the way it is supposed to. This ring-shaped muscle controls what goes in and comes out of your stomach. This condition is known as heartburn and doesn't turn into Acid Reflux until it becomes chronic. Nearly twenty-five million adults experience heartburn on a daily basis. This results when fluid from the stomach is refluxed through the LES. This liquid contains acid and a protein-digesting enzyme. The acid burns the esophagus and can be very painful. GERD or Acid Reflux is not developed until the condition becomes chronic. There are many products advertised on television and in magazines designed to limit heartburn. Once GERD develops it is a lifelong condition that requires ongoing treatment. In my next newsletter I will cover the symptoms of Acid Reflux. Until next time. [Your Name] http://xxxxxxx.stopac1d.hop.clickbank.net ------------------------------------------------------------------- Autoresponder 3 ------------------------------------------------------------------- subject: [todays date] – Symptoms of Acid Reflux Hello [Recipients Name] I hope this email finds you and your loved ones well. There are several symptoms associated with GERD. It is a disease that can affect anyone. Some of the symptoms are inconvenient while others can be frightening. There are many symptoms involved with Acid Reflux and they can range from mild to severe. Symptoms of GERD include don't just affect the digestive system. Anemia, sinus infections, apnea, dental problems, chronic sore throat, and ear infections are common symptoms. In addition, difficulty swallowing, a need to keep clearing the throat, and burning sensation in the mouth, and chest pains are symptoms directly linked to reflux of acid. GERD may also bring about respiratory problems and coughing. Some other symptoms include: - Halitosis (bad breath) - Weight loss due to development of an aversion to food - Neck pain Acid Reflux is a COMMON condition. If you are experiencing any of these symptoms on a regular basis, it might be time to visit your doctor for a professional diagnosis. The condition can be treated, but the longer you let the symptoms go on unabated, the more difficult it is to treat Acid Reflux. I hope this newsletter clarifies some of the symptoms associated with Acid Reflux. My next newsletter will cover some of the complications associated with Acid Reflux. If you want to get all the facts about Acid Reflux and learn more now about how you can manage and neutralize the burning pain of Acid Reflux you can download the ebook I recommend. You can find it at the website address at the bottom of the page. Until next time. [Your Name] http://xxxxxxx.stopac1d.hop.clickbank.net ------------------------------------------------------------------- Autoresponder 4 ------------------------------------------------------------------- subject: [Recipients Name] Complications of Acid Reflux Hello again [Recipients Name] It is [Your Name] here. I hope you are finding the content of my regular newsletters interesting and useful. Today I thought it would be useful to cover many of the complications associated with Acid Reflux. On the surface, Acid Reflux does not appear as a serious condition, but it can be. Some of the complications are mild, but many of them can lead to serious medical conditions. So if you're experiencing heartburn on regular occasions, keep these complications in mind. Anemia - blood loss due to damage to the esophagus can lead to this condition. Anemia is a drop in the body's amount of red blood cells. Asthma - the majority of people suffering from Acid Reflux also have asthma. GERD can make the symptoms of asthma worse by causing the breathing passageways to contract. Barrett's Esophagus - over time, the damage to your esophagus from Acid Reflux can actually alter the cells in the esophagus. This can lead to cancer of the esophagus. Barret's Esophagus is the stage before the cells become cancerous. It is possible to receive treatment to prevent the formation of cancerous cells. Bleeding and Ulcers - when the lining of the esophagus is damaged bleeding can occur and painful ulcers can form. Esophageal Cancer - this form of cancer occurs when Barrett's isn't treated. This one of the top ten forms of cancer in the United States. Respiratory infections - sometimes, refluxed fluids can get inside the lungs and cause all sorts of problems. This is called aspiration and it can cause many types of infections, including pneumonia and bronchitis. In a downloadable ebook I reviewed recently, "Stop Acid Reflux Now!", there is specific information that sheds light on more of the complications of Acid Reflux and how to go about treating them. "Stop Acid Reflux Now!" will show you how to take control of Acid Reflux fast. I hope this information has been useful to you...and I will be in touch soon with the next installment, which covers... Medications for sufferers of Acid Reflux. Bye for now. [Your Name] http://xxxxxxx.stopac1d.hop.clickbank.net ------------------------------------------------------------------- Autoresponder 5 ------------------------------------------------------------------- subject: [Recipients Name]Medication for Acid Reflux Hello again [Recipients Name] I hope you are well and ready for my next Acid Reflux newsletter. Today's I'm going to cover the medications used to fight Acid Reflux. Depending on the severity of your case of Acid Reflux, you may want to try either over-the-counter or prescription drugs. Antacids The first class of medicines most commonly used in the fight against Acid Reflux is antacids. You've seen the commercials on television for all kinds of fizzy tablets. These tablets are usually dissolved in glass of water and work best when taken about an hour after meals. There are many different brands that you can purchase that will help fight the acid production in your stomach. Foaming Agents This medication works by providing a protective coating in your stomach to prevent Acid Reflux. Foaming agents usually work best when combined with other forms of treatment. Histamine Antagonists In order to halt Acid Reflux, the production of stomach acid has to be decreased. Histamine antagonists do just that. These are found over-the-counter and can usually help treat only the symptoms of Acid Reflux. Long-term use is not recommended as the root of the problem won't be addressed. Proton Pump Inhibitors (PPI) This prescription medication is highly effective at limiting the symptoms of Acid Reflux. PPIs work in a similar but more effective way than histamine antagonists. There are many television commercials that feature information on PPIs. You've probably seen them. Prokinetics The least used treatment for Acid Reflux, prokinetics are known to have unpleasant side-effects that limit their usefulness. However, for some people, this form of treatment seems to work. Prokinetics work by boosting the strength of your LES and supercharge your stomach's ability to empty. In the next newsletter I will be talking about some of the surgical procedures that may be required to treat Acid Reflux. Until next time. [Your Name] http://xxxxxxx.stopac1d.hop.clickbank.net ------------------------------------------------------------------- Autoresponder 6 ------------------------------------------------------------------- subject: [Recipients Name] Acid Reflux Surgery [todays date] Dear [Recipients Name] In today's newsletter we are going to cover the surgical options available for treating Acid Reflux. When a doctor recommends surgery, it is often a frightening experience. While having surgery is always a gamble, there are times when it becomes necessary. Acid Reflux, or GERD, when not properly treated early can lead to the necessity of having surgery. When should surgery be considered? Your doctor can tell you this. When many of the symptoms of GERD become common, and drugs no longer work, surgery can be an option. When the complications become life-threatening, doctors will often suggest surgery as a last resort. Fundoplication This is the usual surgical procedure for Acid Reflux. Just like most surgeries, it is performed when nothing else has worked. It is often invasive surgery and involves wrapping the top part of the stomach around the LES in order to strengthen the LES so that reflux cannot occur. Fortunately, this kind of surgery is highly effective at treating Acid Reflux. Endoscopy In order to treat GERD, surgeons have been coming up with all sorts of new treatments. While the long-term effectiveness of endoscopic procedures are not known, these procedures have proven to be reliable in the short-term. Endoscopy can be used to tighten the LES, making it stronger; introduce radiowaves to actually damage the sphincter and cause scar tissue to form and subsequently strengthening the LES; through injection of foreign material that will reinforce the LES. Implants A new form of treatment recently approved by the FDA involves a spongy implant that reinforces the LES. Since the treatment is new, there is no data on the long term effects of this procedure. If the thought if surgery fills you with dread then it's time to get proactive and make some lifestyle changes to help treat your Acid Reflux and keep you out of the operating theater. Luckily, I'll be covering information on lifestyle changes needed to stop Acid Reflux in my next newsletter! Thanks for reading, and I will be back with the lifestyle information soon. Kind regards. [Your Name] http://xxxxxxx.stopac1d.hop.clickbank.net ------------------------------------------------------------------- Autoresponder 7 ------------------------------------------------------------------- subject: [Recipients Name], Lifestyle Changes for Acid Reflux Sufferers Hello again [Recipients Name] In my last newsletter we covered some of the surgical procedures involved in treating Acid Reflux, or GERD and I promised you some information on lifestyle changes that you can make to deal with Acid Reflux, so here goes... Did you know that: Eating habits play an important role in managing Acid Reflux. To limit symptoms and the progression of GERD, you should try to eat smaller meals spread throughout the day. Large meals put more pressure on your stomach and can lead to bouts of Acid Reflux. After you eat, it is recommended to remain upright for at least two hours to keep potentially dangerous fluids in your stomach down. People who smoke are more likely to suffer from Acid Reflux. If you're a smoker and suffer with Acid Reflux you should consider quitting immediately to help reduce the production of stomach acid. There are many great stop smoking programs around and you'll need to evaluate which one will work best for you. A place to start could be here: http://www.stop-smoking-for-life.com/ Copy and paste the url into your browser to have a read. Obesity is one of the leading factors in developing Acid Reflux. Losing excess weight is healthy and will help your body work the way it was built to. Even a small reduction in weight can be a blessing when battling with Acid Reflux. If your weight falls into the obese category on medical charts now is the time to try and tackle it. Alcohol consumption has been shown to increase the production of stomach acid and wear away the protective coating that shields the esophagus. Consider limiting your intake of alcoholic beverages. Relaxation and the reduction of stress are important when managing Acid Reflux. Learn how to keep yourself from stressing out and help limit symptoms. Exercise is universally hailed as key to good health. However, some people with Acid Reflux can be adversely affected by strenuous exercise. Consult with your doctor about an exercise regime that will be beneficial to your body and fit in with your bouts of GERD. Sleep is important for the body to replenish itself and run smoothly. If you have Acid Reflux, consider elevating your upper body at night to reduce the chance of stomach acid entering the esophagus so you can benefit from a good nights healing sleep. In "Stop Acid Reflux Now!" You can find loads more in-depth information covering all of the above lifestyle changes to help you reduce and even eliminate Acid Reflux. If you are interested in finding out more copy and paste the following link into your browser. http://xxxxxxx.stopac1d.hop.clickbank.net In the next newsletter we will be covering the dietary choices you should consider as far as Acid Reflux is concerned. Bye for now. [Your Name] http://xxxxxxx.stopac1d.hop.clickbank.net ------------------------------------------------------------------- Autoresponder 8 ------------------------------------------------------------------- subject: [Recipients Name] Dietary changes and Acid Reflux [todays date] Hello [Recipients Name] As you've probably realized by now, I like keep up to date with the latest Acid Reflux information and resources available. Today's newsletter covers dietary changes recommended for helping stop Acid Reflux. There are some foods that are better than others for people suffering with Acid Reflux to eat. Altering your eating habits, along with lifestyle changes as mentioned in my last newsletter can drastically reduce the need for medications and, down the line, invasive surgeries. You should aim to avoid: - alcohol and caffeine - chocolate - foods high in fat such as French fries - spicy foods like buffalo wings - acidic foods and juices - garlic - onions, broccoli, cabbage, and several other vegetables If you can't avoid these foods and beverages, you should at least consider strictly limiting their consumption. Diet Tips: - Force yourself to eat small meals no matter how hungry you are. Remember eating large meals puts pressure on the stomach and encourages Acid Reflux to occur. - Stay away from carbonated drinks like soda - Don't eat right before going to bed since Acid Reflux happens more when you're lying down. In the ebook, "Stop Acid Reflux Now!", there is more detailed information on dietary choices along with great tasting recipes suitable for all the family which won't wreak havoc on your digestive system. See you next time. Kind regards.
